5K- I did it!

This morning I ran my first 5K. I never thought I would do something like that. Even though it is only 3.1 miles that is still a huge accomplishment for someone that has never ran except to catch the school bus. I did it! I am so grateful for my husband, friends and family that have helped me get to this point. Thank you!
Approaching the finish line for the 2nd time. My kids had a hard time getting ready this morning so they just barely missed the actual finish. So Kathi and I had no problem recreating that great moment.
We did it!

Tiffany, Kathi and Me after the race! This was our first 5K.

Me, Kathi, Tiffany and Tiffany's Mom!
Look out... Tough Girls!
My kids and husband came to support me. Thanks for missing basketball this morning Brian. It meant the world to have you all there.

Jenna's 1 year Photos

This photo session just about made me want to quit photography. Taking pictures of my kids is exhausting. They were so wiggly. I was so used to taking pictures of seniors who for the most part know how to sit still and do what you ask them to do. These were the best pictures that I could get.

Jenna sucking on a rock!

The best pictures I could get of my children.

Logan was actually asking to have his picture taken, which almost never happens, but he couldn't hold still very well for me to take them. These are the best I got of him.

This is what most of my pictures turned out like. Oh the joys of taking pictures of children.

Halloween Fun!

Happy Halloween from our Pirate and Turtle!

Halloween Cake I made for my nephew's birthday. The mouth started sagging so it looks a little pathetic.

Jenna's 1st Birthday!

Jenna recently celebrated her 1st birthday. I can't believe she is 1 already. Time just flew by. Hopefully it will slow down a bit now. Here are a few of the things she has been doing. She can now walk. Her most favorite thing to do is dance. She loves to scream. She can make animal sounds for dog, bear, duck, cat and seal. She hasn't really developed her vocabulary yet. For some words she just says the first sound of the word. She of course can say Mom and Dad. She loves to wave and blow kisses. She does this to strangers in stores and to cars passing by. She is so friendly. She loves to climb and get into trouble. She is very mischievous. She loves to push her limits to see just how much Mom or Dad will let her get away with. I think the terrible 2's are going to be fun. Here are her current stats from her Dr appt.
Height- 30 1/2 in (95%)
Weight- 22lbs 11 oz (80%)

Jenna playing with the birthday cards that got sent in the mail.
Jenna's Mickey Mouse cake. She is obsessed with Mickey Mouse.

Guess Mickey tastes good.
Enjoying playing patty cake on Mickey's face.
Brother needed to test out the cake to make sure it was good enough for his sister.
Jenna decided she needed a fork.
Kailey and Logan needed to sample again.

Logan is excited about the book too.

My attempt at making Jenna a Mickey Mouse Cake. She at least recognized it and was excited.
I will hopefully put up a video of Jenna eating her cake soon.
